As of January 2015, I’ve taken a position as a Lecturer in the Property Department in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at the University of Melbourne. I’m currently teaching real estate research methods and international property development at the graduate level. My ongoing research looks at workflow and data provenancing in real estate analysis, statistical property valuation models, Airbnb markets and incorporating GIS and open source tools into real estate analysis.
I’m a recent (December 2013) graduate of the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Program in Urban Design and Planning at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA. My work there focused on building data systems to measure urban land use change, specifically in regards to the real estate market’s role in urban intensification/regeneration.
